Andddd we’re back. Well, Check Your Six certainly hasn’t gone anywhere, but I have. Now I’m back…and it feels damn good.

Back to the great life of mixing the college life with the business lifestyle. It’s a fun balance, one that very few college students get to enjoy. Half of my time face deep in a textbook, the other half, face deep in the automatic processing booth at the post office. Jah bless America.

A few nights ago we made our way downtown to kick it with our boys Vince (@vin_e_smalls), Podge (@podgethin), and Nate (@mmmkowski). James and I pretended to fit in with our BMX and mountain bikes, but undoubtedly fit in perfectly with our beer vodka drinking abilities.

I love working late into the night. There’s something about being up after 99% of the world is asleep (disregarding time zones). I don’t know, it somehow sparks creativity in a natural, rebellious way. Maybe it doesn’t, I don’t know…it’s really late…

This is the start of our ‘Check Your Six Library’. We’ve started to put aside one of each shirt that we’ve ever printed. Someday, our library will be as big as LeBron in Cleveland. Oh wait…

There’s certainly been a few changes around the site since we last blogged. By few changes I mean, like…a whole new website. Out with the old and in with the new, right? Along with a brand new website (we hope you like), we also finally released our Fall / Winter 2010 Collection, entitled ‘The Calm Before The Storm’. The lookbook was, as always, a lot of fun to be a part of. More than anything, it was a bunch of friends having a great time putting together something that would hopefully turn out. And if it didn’t, oh well, it’s bonding time in a liquor store. It did turn out though, right…Right…?!?

Sometimes when something amazing happens, everybody involved knows it, and everybody around wishes they were involved.

We’re gearing up for our photoshoot tomorrow. To do lists, running errands, and calling Bruegger’s Bagels to make sure they are open by six a.m. A day in the life…

What to expect from Fall 2010: Your next favorite shirt to hit your closet. Your next favorite shirt to get you kicked out of class, work, or the police station. Something for the kids. Brand new web-site. Brand new online shop. Brand new retailer list.

We’ve been hard at work lately. Shipments have come in, eyes have widened, and big things are on the horizon. Think of right now as the calm before the storm. To preview our Fall 2010 collection, we wanted to do it a few different ways. Of course, coming soon will be product previews and sneak peeks. For now though…our preview should be looked at as somewhat of a metaphor. The shirt from our past collection coming off? Metaphor. New season is upon us. Oh, and the rest? Just our Check Your Six care package to all of you. Happy summer.
